System Requirements

SMud runs and is supported on the following versions of Windows:

  • Windows 98
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows XP

SMud may run on the following operating systems, but is unsupported:

  • Windows ME - I have never supported ME and never will.
  • Windows Vista - SMud runs with Vista. Any problems should be entered into the bugs system.
  • Linux - WINE is able to run SMud with some amount of effort, but certain features don't work.
  • Mac OS X - CrossOver Mac is able to install and run SMud, but may have problems with Plugins and other features.

SMud no longer runs on the following operating systems:

  • Windows 95
  • Windows NT
